Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born on December 19, 1986. The native of Canada and is employed within the Hollywood film industry, where she worked on a variety of projects. Her most notable role is Alexis Rose, a CBC television sitcom series Schitt's Creek. The show began in 2015 and ran until the year 2020. In her performance, she got praise from critics and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born Ottawa Ontario Canada. She is the child of two educators. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she began performing on the stage. After graduating from Concordia University with a theatre degree, she joined the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. It was the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory was where she studied acting. Following her move from Toronto to Los Angeles, she began performing professionally when she was 22. Annie Murphy launched her acting career with the 2007 crime-thriller television film Lethal Obsession. The actress went on to play minor roles and even more in various movies. Certain of the films have been very well-received, such as Story of Jen released in the year 2008, Lick in 2010 and A Windigo Tale released the in the same year. In addition, she has participated in Canadian series including Good God which was broadcast in 2012 Rookie Blue that aired the same year.
