Lis Wiehl was born August 19th, 1962. She was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She previously served as an associate professor of law at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl she was born and grew up at Yakima within Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College in 1983, a Master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 and then the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor for the US Attorney's office. She also worked as a NPR legal reporter. She worked as the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She was the director of their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
