
Sadoski started his stage career with an award by playing the understudy of Mark Ruffalo and Mark Rosenthal in the Off-Broadway productions of Kenneth Lonergan's critically-acclaimed play This is Our Youth at the Second Stage Theatre. This was the first of many productions with the theatre company based in New York. He has performed in a variety of Off-Broadway and Broadway productions as well with productions in regional theatres. In 2008, he played the role as Greg in Neil LaBute's show reasons to be beautiful for MCC Theatre alongside The Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. It was a highly acclaimed Off-Broadway production that was a huge success and sold to the max. In April 2009, it was moved to Broadway and received three Tony Award nominations: Best Actor: Sadoski; Best Actress: Marin Ireland; Best Play; and three Drama Desk Award nominations: Best actor, Best Director, Terry Kinney and Best actor.
